<p>Gordon Institute of TAFE leads the way in its delivery of flexible, quality training relevant to today's workplace. The Apprenticeship/Traineeship Support Unit is able to customise training to suit the individual needs of apprentices and trainees and their employers, with the Gordon's programs offering flexible entry and exit points and the options of both classroom and workplace delivery.</p>
<p>The unit's highly qualified staff provides a central point for employers and students to direct enquiries, concerns or request information, while ensuring the quality and delivery of programs. The unit is experienced in workplace-based training and assessment within a wide range of industry areas and locations.</p>
<p>Training options and services also includes;</p>
<ul>
	<li>Recognition of existing skills and other training completed</li>
	<li>Competency checklists to assist workplace delivery and assessment</li>
	<li>A combination of on and off-the-job training</li>
	<li>Ongoing support for apprentices, trainees and supervisors</li>
	<li>The provision of pathways for further education and training options</li>
</ul>
<p>The Gordon is dedicated to equipping students for today's workforce with up-to-date training methods, state-of-the-art equipment and access to information technology and online delivery. The Gordon continually updates its apprenticeship/traineeship programs in response to the changing needs of industry and business.</p>
